Creative Incubation Program

The Fablab Creative Incubation program is set up for local entrepreneurs to learn fabrication skills and to apply them using tools to design and manufacture (almost) anything. The program aims to make cutting-edge technology available to locals and to bridge the technological gap, which is partially responsible for the continued economic disadvantage of less-developed countries.

Creative Incubation Period: 1 January 2012 – 31 June 2012

As a realization of the Creative Research program, Fablab Yogyakarta (HONFablab) facilitates local university students to develop their works, which are applied in the field of entrepreneurship.

We are organizing a series of events in the format of a design and prototyping competition under the name of WIN+PLAY (WINdow DisPLAY). The competition is held in cooperation with a local branch of the internationally-renowned brand Lee Cooper Indonesia, with the objective to provide contestants with facilities and knowledge on entrepreneurship in the creative industries area.
